Personalized Bookkeeping & Tax Services Inc. was established in September 1989 by Donna Kalinowski Blackwell, Enrolled Agent & Certified Acceptance Agent.

The mission of our accountants in Mt. Juliet is to help individuals and business owners stay organized and on track so they achieve their goals and succeed in their business and personal endeavors.

Personalized Bookkeeping & Tax Services has won Best Accountant in the “Best of Mt. Juliet” for six consecutive years starting in 2018. The “Best of Mt. Juliet” is an annual award to recognize local businesses that provide outstanding service to the community.
Donna Kalinowski Blackwell
Personalized Bookkeeping & Tax Services was established in September 1989 by Donna Kalinowski Blackwell, EA. Donna graduated from the Nashville State Technical Institute in 1985 with an Associate of Science in Computer Accounting Technology. She earned a Bachelor of Administration degree from Tennessee State University in 1993 and completed 150 hours of CPA requirements. In 2003, Donna opened Personalized Bookkeeping & Tax Services full time.

In the summer of 2012, Donna passed the exam needed to become a Registered Tax Return Preparer with the IRS. Her work experience includes several years as a financial analyst for a small airline, a budget/account analyst for a healthcare company, a banking manager, and a payroll manager. In 2015, she became an IRS Enrolled Agent and she is currently the Vice President of the Tennessee Society of Enrolled Agents (TNSEA). An IRS Enrolled Agent is the highest credential the IRS Awards. Enrolled Agents are not just licensed in the State of Tennessee, they have Federal Jurisdiction in all 50 states.

Donna is also a Certified Acceptance Agent who is authorized by the IRS to assist individuals in securing a taxpayer identification number (ITIN). There are less than 30 agents in the state of Tennessee.

Donna has served as President on multiple HOA boards demonstrating her leadership and commitment to the boards and residents. As an accountant in Mt. Juliet, she also specializes in assisting clients who own multiple rental properties. Julieta Flores
Julieta has been Donna’s right hand since February 2019. Starting as tax season was in full swing, she picked up the business quickly by assisting with bookkeeping, payroll, ITIN processing, tax preparation while providing a friendly smile. She continues to grow our Latino market while going above and beyond to service our current clients.
Danica Dudinetz
Danica graduated from Mount Juliet High School. Her dad owns a local business in Mt. Juliet where she worked until she started with Personalized Bookkeeping & Tax Services, Inc. She is so excited to be starting her career here with Donna as her guide.
Milo
Milo the Maltese joined our team as Office Dog in June 2014 and is the fur baby of Donna. He is the Marketing Director and official Door Greeter of Personalized Bookkeeping & Tax Service, Inc. while also responsible for providing pet therapy and dog-cuddle fixes. He also considers himself Head of Security.

Clients come from near and far scheduling their appointments when Milo is sure to be in the office. He is a fashion icon in the bookkeeping world known for his trendy tees and polos.
Mandy Reilly
Meet Mandy, a Nashville native, raised in Mt Juliet who has spent her entire career navigating the complex waters of finance. When she's not crunching numbers and helping clients at Personalized Bookkeeping and Tax Services, Mandy can be found exploring Nashville's vibrant food scene or spending quality time with her family. With our expert tax preparers and accountants in Mt. Juliet, you're not just a client - you're part of the family.
Summer Horton
Summer started at Personalized Bookkeeping & Tax Services in August 2023. She grew up in New Hampshire, moved south for college, and graduated from Harding University with a degree in Human Resources in 2004. She settled in Mount Juliet in 2009 and lives here with her two teenagers and two dogs. After 12 years of homeschooling her kids, she is excited to be starting a new career in Mt. Juliet, learning accounting, online bookkeeping, payroll, and tax preparation and working with the Mount Juliet community.
